STUDIO KIANA

Born From Admiration

It began with a wedding saree. Like many families in Gujarat, ours turned to Patola for a moment that mattered. I knew it was special. But I didn't yet know how special — or how deep the story truly went. That changed when I began curating. I have always needed to understand everything about what I offer. So when Patola came into my world, I went looking — for the technique, the mathematics hidden within the motifs, the years of devotion an artisan carries before their hands are ready. The more I discovered, the more I fell in love. A single saree can take months of meticulous work. Every thread is dyed before it meets the loom. The pattern lives in the artisan's mind long before it appears on the fabric. It is not merely weaving — it is memory, knowledge, and heritage made tangible. What began with Patola soon became a deeper appreciation for Gujarat's remarkable textile traditions. From the precision of Patola to the expressive beauty of Bandhej, I found myself drawn to crafts that carry generations of skill, patience, and cultural memory within them. Studio Kiana was born from that admiration. We are a small, intentional space dedicated to celebrating exceptional handcrafted textiles. Every piece is sourced from trusted artisans and weaving families, carefully curated, and offered with honesty and transparency. Every saree we carry is Silk Mark certified. Every piece is chosen because it moved us first. When a Studio Kiana saree reaches you, we hope you feel what we feel — that you are becoming the keeper of something worth keeping. A fragment of Gujarat's living heritage, not preserved behind glass, but draped, worn, celebrated, and carried forward through generations. Welcome to Studio Kiana. A place for those who value craftsmanship, heritage, and the stories woven into every thread.

+ THE LOOM

Time as an Asset

We reject the frantic pace of seasonal trends to honor the slow, deliberate rhythm of the loom. A single double-ikat masterpiece requires four master weavers and up to six months of mathematical alignment. We do not rush the loom.

Our textiles are not mere garments; they are investment-grade luxury assets. By bypassing traditional retail, we connect global South Asian collectors directly with the ancestral preservation of Gujarati textile arts.

HERITAGE STANDARD

The Collector Standard

Every piece we offer is Silk Mark certified, guaranteeing pure silk of the highest grade. We serve NRI brides and multi-generational collectors through a high-touch, private inquiry model, ensuring authentic heritage is preserved for generations.
