/ THE CRAFT

Mathematical Precision of Ikat

Every thread of our Patan double-ikat is measured, tied, and dyed before reaching the loom. The intricate geometric symmetry is achieved entirely by aligning individual silk warp and weft fibers with absolute mathematical calculation.

Our Bandhej pieces are defined by thousands of minute, hand-tied knots on pure mulberry silk. These traditional techniques yield singular masterpieces that cannot be replicated, serving as permanent historical records of Gujarati loom arts.
